Today's new year's eve. 2011 had passed within a blink of an eye, and 2012 is coming our way. i shall take this time to pen down most of the things that i can remember which took place in this epic year of 2011.
at the start of the year, where i just finished my A level's, i was probably doing nothing at all. going out everyday or just staying at home stoning everyday. till around march where i found a job. together with zongyou and kohyiying, we worked together in a small office. the pay was awesome ($10/hr), and the job hours was fantastic! i bet i'll never find another part time job that's as good as this one. and i continued working all the way till may 3rd. 2 days before my enlistment into yet another company know as the SAF.
from here, my life as an NSF starts. i can still remember clearly what happened on may 5th, as if it just happened yesterday. woke up super early in the morning, and made my way to mengkiat house as we were going to enlist together at the same time. hitch a ride on his dad's car all the way till paris ferry terminal where my life was going to take a drastic change. had some unless yet boring talk session from some officer and off we went to pulau tekong, AKA living hell. HAHA. there at tekong, there was more talk sessions going on, and our family members we taken away to take a look at our living facilities. and blah blah, as the day continues,i was brought to a company where i'll never forget how it's like living in there. Raven Coy.
as i've posted before how life was like in Raven, i shall not do it again. haha actually im just lazy =x so life continues in Raven, till we Graduated at marina platform, after a what seemed like a neverending 24km route march. hahaa! both my AFF and seamate came to view my graduation parade that day! thank you both very much! and someone else came too. but, there's nothing much to say about it anymore. so lets move on.
i've found myself going to SCS after graduation, much to my relieve then as i really didnt want to go OCS. =x but now thinking back, i'd rather go to OCS. oh well, life is full of choices and when you choose the wrong thing, you'll just have to pick yourself up and carry on moving forward.
and so SCS passed swiftly and painlessly as well, made some cool friends in Kilo Coy, experience stuff that i've never experienced in BMT before. SCS foundation term is probably the best part of my NS life so far. and from then on, i went into Artillery. i would consider it as the 2nd best formation, while the 1st will be Military Police for me. hahaha.
and as the Artillery term comes to an end, i've become an instructor in AI. and im glad i came here. met new friends, became close to my ex-sgts. haha life cant get any better (:
